Beijing Capital (PEK)
- Airport Express (¥25) to Sanyuanqiao/Dongzhimen, connects to metro lines 10 and 2 — 30–40 min
- Taxi to city center: ¥100–150, 40–70 min depending on traffic
- Didi: similar price, designated pickup zones
Beijing Daxing (PKX)
- Daxing Airport Express (¥35) to Caoqiao — 20 min, then metro line 10/19
- High-speed trains to Beijing West also stop at the terminal
- Taxi to center: ¥180–250, 60–90 min (it's far — 46 km)
Shanghai Pudong (PVG)
- Maglev (¥50, 300 km/h) to Longyang Road in 8 minutes, then metro line 2 — the fun option
- Metro line 2 direct to People's Square — ¥8, about 60 min
- Taxi to the Bund area: ¥160–220, 50–80 min
Guangzhou (CAN) / Shenzhen (SZX)
- Guangzhou: Metro line 3 direct to city — ¥7–10, 45 min
- Shenzhen: Metro line 11 — 40 min to Futian
Universal rules
- Metro and airport express stop running around 23:00–23:30
- Use the official taxi queue only; say no to solicitors ("taxi? taxi?") inside the terminal
- Have your hotel's Chinese address ready to show the driver
- Airport buses run to major districts until the last flight — a good budget backup
